Large scale
surface radiative fluxes were derived at the University of Maryland,
College Park from ISCCP DX data at 0.5 degree resolution at 3 hourly
time intervals. Satellite
observations as obtained from the International Cloud Climatologic
Project (ISCCP) DX data (Schiffer and Rossow, 1985;
Rossow and Schiffer, 1999 )
were used. Selected results
on monthly mean values of the shortwave radiative fluxes for the period
of 1990 - 1992 are shown in the following galleries:
The data presented in the
Galleries cover the entire CATCH area.
