While pursuing my Master's Degree, I have studied sources of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in the troposphere. The release of VOC into the atmosphere as well as NOx leads to the formation tropospheric ozone and high levels of tropospheric ozone can lead to respiratory problems. My current research focuses on air quality including the development of computer models that quantify the effects of human activity on the composition of the atmosphere.
