My research interests are in the fields of climate change, climate variability and how carbon cycle evolves under such scenarios on different time scales.Mostly, we use Earth System Model to explore the possible mechanisms of climate change, carbon cycle, etc.

1. Earth System Modeling

2. Climate Change/Variability
  • Interannual/Inter-decadal variation of atmospheric circulation
  • Its impact on the vegetation growth and carbon budget
3. Previous work on Indian Ocean
  • Indian Ocean Subsurface Interannual Variability and Dipole Mode
  • Indian Ocean Subsurface Dipole Mode with ENSO
  • Its relations with China Summer Monsoon
